World Class Fishing

Birch Lake is well known for it’s world-class fishing.  The primary fish available are walleye, northern pike and lake trout.
At the lodge we have a policy of catch and release, and encourage all our guests to release trophy fish safely back into the lake.    This ensures that fishing on Birch Lake remains of high quality for years to come.
We require that guests use live bait that is local to the area, to prevent the introduction of invasive species into Birch Lake. Bait can be ordered in advance and will be at the lodge upon arrival.
